Hints & Tips

Here is some information on some of the terms we use to describe certain services, we also provide some tips and suggestions.

Meta Tags
Every site we design will include Meta Tags. We want to help to get hits, so we'll place Head Tags, keywords and descriptions to help promote your site to search engines. We can't promise that this will get you to the top of the list or get you hits but it will certainly get you off to a good start and allow you to add your site to directories and search engine lists.

Advertising
The only really effective way to promote your site, despite what any high paid IT experts tells you, is through advertising. You can achieve this from simply displaying the URL on your leaflets and literature, commercial vehicles, TV/radio commercials, window displays, adverts in the paper or local magazines/guides.

Promotion
It may be worthwhile paying for a service such as pay-per-click, this can be offered by many online services and search engines. For example Google's version: "Google AdWords ads connect you with new customers at the precise moment when they're looking for your products or services. With Google AdWords you create your own ads, choose keywords to help us match your ads to your audience and pay only when someone clicks on them."

Photo Stitching
Stitching allows a row or column of photos to form a single panorama, this is very useful in showing 3D areas or making rooms look very spacious.

Email Forwarding
Maybe you have a large number of email addresses and don't want to check all of them separately. With the email forwarding feature, you can forward all your incoming email to another email address that you specify. This is similar to forwarding for your phone calls.

Special Image Effects & Techniques
We have a number of special image effects and techniques we can offer to change your images, various colour toning, altered perspectives and enhanced lighting. All applied to make that image just all the more special.

Search Engine Profiling, Meta Tags & Keywords
Whilst we will endeavor to give your site a good start on search directory listings we can't guarantee you'll always be at the top without the correct meta tags and keywords. We can set these up for you so that you have a better chance of being found on popular search engines such as Google.
